Dr. Gregory Soo Chan, DDS, MSc, FRCD(C)

Financial Policy

The fee for your endodontic treatment will be based on the extent of treatment.  The fees are payable at the time of service.  Specialist fees are higher than those of a general dentist, due to the expert level of care, post-graduate training and state of the art technology provided in our office. During your initial visit we will discuss the probable number of visits, their length, and the fees involved.

Our office may accept direct payment (assignment of benefits) from your dental insurance plan for the services we provide that are covered by your individual insurance plan.  Please be aware that there are numerous insurance companies and each company has many different plans.  This, in addition to strict privacy laws, make it impossible for us to know all of the details of your individual insurance plan.  For this reason, we ask for your understanding if we are unable to provide financial details pertaining to your insurance at the time treatment is recommended.  We will, however, strive to provide you with the most accurate estimate possible prior to commencing treatment.

It is important to understand that the contract regarding your dental benefits is between you, your employer, and your insurance company.  The obligation you have with our practice is to be responsible for the cost of your dental treatment, regardless of the amount that may or may not be reimbursed by your insurance company.  Your dental insurance plan may or may not cover the full cost of your dental treatment.

For your convenience, we accept, Visa, Mastercard and Debit.  Personal cheques and cash will not be accepted.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

When you book an appointment with us, we reserve that time specifically for you. As such, we require 48 hours notice in the event an appointment must be cancelled. This allows other patients awaiting treatment to be rescheduled into the time slot initially reserved for you. Short notice cancellations (i.e. less than 48 hours notice) and missed appointments will be subject to fees payable prior to rescheduling.
